About the Book

An historical biography of a young Oblate missionary priest on an adventurous journey that takes him into the Canadian Arctic during the Second World War. Lost in a new landscape and culture, he endures isolation and hardships that force him to question his faith. Using compassion and humour as his allies, he persists in his battles to foster goodwill. It is only in losing himself in his struggles that he ends-up finding his true mission.
